Terms of service

Last updated 26 July 2026

These terms cover your use of Vuala, a service for scheduling and publishing posts to social platforms. Creating an account means you accept them.

Questions: legal@vuala.bio.

01

What the service does

Vuala stores content you upload and, at the times you choose, sends it to Pinterest, TikTok, and Reddit using the API credentials of accounts you have connected. It is a tool that acts on your instruction. It does not review, approve or moderate what you publish.

02

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything published through your account.
  • You must be old enough to hold accounts on the platforms you connect — at minimum 13, and 18 where we or the platform require it.
  • One person or organisation per account. Don't share credentials.
03

You remain bound by each platform's rules

Publishing through an API does not exempt you from the terms of the platform receiving the content. You are responsible for complying with:

  • Pinterest's terms of service and community guidelines, including its rules on spam and duplicate pinning.
  • TikTok's terms of service, community guidelines, and the Music Usage Confirmation, which you confirm each time you publish.
  • Reddit's user agreement and content policy, including subreddit-specific rules.
  • Disclosure requirements. If content is a paid partnership, promotes your own business, or is AI-generated, you must mark it as such using the toggles provided — that is what sets brand_content_toggle, brand_organic_toggle and is_aigc on the post.

A platform can suspend or ban your account for what you publish through this tool. That outcome is between you and the platform.

04

Content you upload

You keep all rights to your content. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to run the service: to store your files, and to transmit them to the platforms you have selected at the times you have scheduled.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including music and any footage or images you did not create.

05

Acceptable use

You may not use this service to:

  • Publish content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Operate accounts you are not authorised to post from.
  • Run coordinated inauthentic activity — bulk duplicate posting across many accounts, engagement farming, or spam.
  • Attempt to bypass a platform's rate limits, review process or content restrictions.
  • Probe or disrupt our infrastructure, or access another user's data.
06

Availability, and what the platforms control

The service is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. Publishing depends on the connected platforms, and a post can fail for reasons outside anyone's control here: expired tokens, rate limits, platform outages, review restrictions, or a rejection by the platform.

The scheduler retries a failed destination up to three attempts and then surfaces the platform's error for you to act on. It does not guarantee that a scheduled post will be published, and a scheduled time is a target rather than a commitment.

07

Third-party access levels

Some behaviour is set by the platforms, not by this software. In particular, a TikTok app that has not passed content-posting review can only publish privately, and TikTok photo posts require a domain verified with TikTok. Reddit media-link posts require a public media URL. These limits come from the platforms themselves and cannot be worked around.

08

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, or that puts our platform API access at risk.

09

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue or reach resulting from a post that failed to publish, published late, or published with the wrong audience setting. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the previous twelve months.

10

No affiliation

Vuala is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, TikTok, or Reddit. Those names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe interoperability.

11

Changes

Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and we will tell you by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the revised terms; if you would rather not, delete your account.
